Chickadees Gone Wild!

  Six Black-capped Chickadee hatch-lings leave the nest after 19 days

 "I wonder what's on the other side of this hole?" Chicks are definitely curious about what's out there.

 all systems ready for first test flight  

 I expect these guys to fly-the-coop in the next 2 days.

Their feathers are filling in, giving them their chickadee colours.  

 it's a very hot day today and the chicks eyes have now opened.

 In one end, out the other.

 Dad chickadee makes a food delivery.
