Chickadees Gone Wild!

 Feeding six mouths is a full-time job for two.

 Six to bed. All six eggs have hatched.

 Four eggs hatched early this frosty morning. Two more to go.  

 Hopefully they will hatch this week.

 That sure looks like an egg.

 

 Black-capped Chickadee nest build continues. This is a nest of many colours thanks to dryer-lint. Listen closely and you can hear the bird's mate chattering just outside.

It takes all sorts of stuff to build a nest, fur , dryer lint, dried grass , moss.
